Rental Upgrade Nearing the end of renovation - Kitchen cabinet handles - Kitchen/Basement flooring

In this episode, we see the kitchen cabinet handles installed, the kitchen flooring installed and the basement carpet squares installed, plus some much-dreaded stairwell painting.

Sooooo close to the end. Must keep going. Don't stop. One foot in front of the other. Keep going. Bought this place to update and put a tenant in for another income bucket. Most of the work needed is cosmetic and we probably don't even need to update the kitchen to the extent we will be doing. It's our belief that a modernized property will bring a better monthly price and help keep those good tenants in place long term. It will also allow us peace of mind knowing we are offering a nice property and a fair price and the majority of components within a house are up to modern standards. Follow along with us on this updating process to see if this is something you may be interested in learning more about. Rental income is a steady paycheck all while letting someone else pay off your property, and cover the taxes and insurance. If anything, it is a good inheritance for our daughters. New here? Painting tables, trays and other things black - Plus a black SNAKE in my house!

Yes, a snake! In my house, in the middle of the freakin city! He did not meet his maker on this day, he was set back on his turf. He did give me the idea for the "Back in Black" theme tho. Join me in this video where I paint a couple tables, a hand full of trays, a flower pot, and a birdbath black.

I used Krylon paint in black, and copper for some of the projects and Heirloom Traditions Paint in Polo for another. All of these projects feel industrial to me. They are a mighty shadow in a little package. That Heirloom Traditions Paint in the color Polo is my favorite. It has a blueish undertone. Some light it looks totally black, but in other light, you see the slightest hint of navy. LOVE This is a fun video. I ran away with the "back in black" thing. Try saying that a bazillion times in one day without messing it up I hope you all enjoy and please leave a comment even if it's a smiley face. :) Subscribing is free and easy, and so is hitting the like button ;) #paintitblack #blackspraypaint #blacksnake #backinblack #blackbirdbath #blacktable #Heirloomtraditionspaint #HeirloomtraditionspaintinPolo #junkshackbaby

Thrift haul items for reselling, reimagining, keeping, sharing or just because I am JunkShackBaby

What thrifted items have I bought in the past month? Home decor on a budget. Budget DIY's, and lots of cool scrapbooking items that I won't ever scrapbook with but may show up in a future DIY. What have I done with these items? Should I keep the tiny blue bottles or sell them? This haul is from a few different stores, from a few different days. I hope you enjoy it!

How did our sale go? Did I make any money? What two things did I come home with?

How much can you make with a truckload of items? Was our garage sale a success? I sold all the big things and that's all that I hoped for. Tell me what you thought? See anything you would have snapped up?

I love hosting sales but it is no fun moving all the stuff to another location. I do it for the location. What are the three most important things about selling items? Location, location, location. ;) #garagesale #tagsale #thrifting #sellwithme

Garage sale this weekend - What can I find to sell - Is there any money to be made?

Just showing off a few of the items I believe I'll be taking to my friend's sale this weekend. Can I make any money? Will I allow myself to even sell some of these pieces? Not even I know the answers to those questions. Likely some of these items will just come back home with me.

I hesitate to call this sale a garage sale because her items are from a warehouse she stores her home staging pieces in. Everything is always so nice and her husband sells great "garage/yard/tools". In the midwest, no one calls them "tag sales" but that's what I think these should be called...garage sale just sounds so cheap. Make sure you are subscribed to this channel so you won't miss the sale video this weekend. She always has such beautiful things and I have some vintage things. It'll be a good time ;) #resale #thriftfinds #keeporsell #mcmforsale

Some thrift shopping for vintage items to keep or resell, a huge shopping haul and even a DIY

A bit of shopping and then the giant thrift haul with one little DIY thrown in 'cause I couldn't NOT do it. Painting is the easiest, most affordable, and drastic thing you can do to revamp any item into a gorgeous display-worthy piece.

If anyone knows anything about the stone glassware please leave me a comment. #thriftshopping #thrifthaul #DIYdecor #spraypaint #upcycle
