I picked up nine of the cube drawer boxes from Dollar Tree and glued them together. Using a little paint and a lot of water I made a stain for the outside and painted the drawers black. This thing is so adorable! It can be used in so many different applications. I will probably use it in the craft room for my beads, pearls, junk jewelry, and "littles" that have no home. My hubby thought it'd be great as guitar repair pieces storage.
I also thought about buying a bunch more and making an advent calendar for Christmas. THAT would be sooooo adorable! Maybe dye the wood green instead and paint the boxes white!!
