DIY Mini Apothecary Wood Drawers - Craft storage - Spice storage - Work Bench storage - Toy storage

I picked up nine of the cube drawer boxes from Dollar Tree and glued them together. Using a little paint and a lot of water I made a stain for the outside and painted the drawers black. This thing is so adorable! It can be used in so many different applications. I will probably use it in the craft room for my beads, pearls, junk jewelry, and "littles" that have no home. My hubby thought it'd be great as guitar repair pieces storage. I also thought about buying a bunch more and making an advent calendar for Christmas. THAT would be sooooo adorable! Maybe dye the wood green instead and paint the boxes white!! #JunkShackBaby #DollarTreeDIY #ApothecaryStorage

Table makeover with Heirloom Traditions Paint "Make a wish" on my wish table!

A gorgeous and easy to make table.  Made especially for wishing.  I used Heirloom Traditions paint in the color of Polo from their "All in one" line.  The "wish" stickers are from Walmart but from a while ago, maybe 3ish years.  The perfect size of this table is what makes it so attractive.  It can be used as a coffee table, an end table, and even a nightstand.  Currently, it sits behind my couch which backs to a walkway.  Come Christmas time it will be decorated with blue and white decor.  I can hardly wait!!!

15 minute dinner - Cajun Carbonara Pasta with store bought white sauce

Make this dinner in 15 minutes or less with a few pantry staples. Its cheesy, spicy, and oh soooo good. I use andouille sausage for mine but any link sausage will work. Sometimes we add fresh tomatoes and green onions at the very end. Round out this yummy meal with garlic bread and a side salad. Makes great leftovers too!! #15minutedinner #CajunPasta #JunkShackBaby

DIY this Boho Rug for $10 or less using items from Dollar Tree - So many possibilities, just imagine

Everything for this excellent idea was purchased at Dollar Tree. Check out @JustinWrey on youtube for this inspiration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQz4t-0xkyM. Design options are endless for you to make one for yourself. In this video, I used the nautical rope from Dollar Tree. I have just $10 into this project, not including glue sticks. The end result is just like a high-end rug. This is an all-cotton rope and I believe that is why the hot glue worked so well. I am confident this rug can take wear and tear except for the part about not being able to wash it. Keeping it out of the walkway and in a "pretty" spot is probably for the best. I know I'll be making another or three!! (already have one started ;) ) #BohoRopeRug #DollarTree #JunkShackBaby

Garden Tour June 2020

This video is really a document for me to reference back to.  Its the first summer with this new house and the enjoyment it has brought watching all of these grow has been wonderous.  I feel we were so lucky to buy this place because the gardens are a bonus.  I have planted so many things at other homes and I didn't get to see them all mature.  THIS home is giving me that tenfold.  There are a few things I will move around this fall but otherwise, I love everything and its location.
Thanks for stopping by!
