This project was very easy. I watched TV while I worked on it. I found the idea on @LizFenwickDIY channel here on YouTube. I changed my peace up a little bit differently so that it was not a direct copy of hers. Here is a link to her video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBRTwTsUNag
I had a lot of fun doing this project and I am considering doing another one on a much larger scale. Make sure you are subscribed to this channel so that you can see if I actually do it or not LOL #Macrame' #EasyMacrame' #JunkShackBabyWednesday, March 10, 2021

Painting chairs sucks but I did it anyway. Almost. Kinda. A third of them. Hold my beer.
I have mixed feelings about these chairs. With great intentions, I began painting them and then changed my mind a few times until I finally threw in the towel. I didn't really give up, I am just letting the ideas mingle in my brain for a while. About 6 years ago I painted a different set of dining table chairs and it took me a month. I think the dread of having these chairs tied up for a month was eating at me. To the point that I didn't like any of my options regarding color. Looking back on the whole ordeal I should have just went with the white as I originally thought. Maybe I'll still do that but at a different time. I think I'll blame all of this on covid. Why not? Everything else in the world is blamed on it. For the most part, I don't mind the look of two chairs being different colors. HA!! Who am I kidding? It'll drive me batcrap crazy. Right here and now I am challenging myself to finish these chairs before I wear a swimsuit the first time this year. That will be a hard challenge as we are working on our lake property and I know we'll need to jump in the lake sooner than later. I guess I can also command myself to not brush off the rule and just jump in nekid LOL!
Hope you enjoyed this video. Leave me a comment letting me know your thoughts on what I should or should not do to this set of dining room chairs. Thrifting "USA Resale" Shop - Small town, super nice store
Living in a small town really puts a cramp on your thrift shopping. Having this little gem of a place in our corner of heaven is a godsend. They have such a nice selection of many different home decor styles. It's my favorite place to buy furniture and artwork for the walls.
They also have a really nice selection of women's clothing and shoes, many of which are a bit dressier than I normally wear. I am not big on new clothes or shoes so I don't often look at that part but when I do want something nice for a good price, this is the place I visit. It's crazy to me but every time I pull into their parking lot and see "USA Resale" I hum the tune "Surfing USA" "Everybody was thrifting... Thrifting USA" Sing it with me! #Thriftwithme #thriftshopping #JunkShackBabyWednesday, February 17, 2021
6 Ingredient Salsa Verde
In Today's video, my hubby is in the kitchen making his Salsa Verde. We have been making and enjoying this salsa for many years. Using 6 ingredients anyone can find at the grocery store you too can pull this together in 20ish minutes. You will need tomatillo's, cilantro, garlic, a pepper your family likes we usually use serrano's but the store was out so we used jalapenos, apple cider vinegar, and onion to taste. We also add salt and pepper but you can skip both if you prefer. Before I found this little food chopper we just used our blender.

Hanging lamp ideas on the cheap using household items most people have or can easily find 2nd hand
Using long hanging light cords from a previous video, I came up with ideas to make your own hanging lamps. From baskets to flower pots, this video is chock full of inspiration so that you can DIY one for your own self! Actually just looked around my house for things that would work inside or outside and that I was not afraid to cut a hole in. LOL! Find the cords/lamp socket at all the hardware stores and on Amazon for just a few bucks. On a side note, I would like to state that the song on this video has been copyright claimed. That simply means the owners can place ads on this video and collect revenue. It is NOT a strike. This song is in my apple license as a free song but to dispute, is a long journey, of course. LOL It is such a great song that I agree the people that own it should get any revenue their ads on this song might make. After much research and a deep love of this song, I am sharing it and my lamp crafts with the whole world so that everyone can enjoy it. Hopefully, it will show folks that music on this channel is as important as content. I want songs that set the mood I am looking for. Throughout the song he says "Tell me what you want" and throughout the song, I felt it fit so much with the different ideas I am providing that no other song sounded right when I thought to just change it. Please sit back, watch the video, and most of all.... enjoy this extra cool song. (Note that nothing is ever free or as it seems) Please comment below letting me know you read this far. ;) Video with hanging light cords https://youtu.be/JRLREcLRtn4 #DIYhanginglamp #hanginglamp #easyhanginglamp #hanginglampideas #hanginglightideas #hanginglightDIY #thriftedhanginglamp #thriftedhanginglight #JunkShackBaby

Master bedroom update with art work and a couple little dollar item diy cuties
Using Dollar Tree items I tweek our bedroom with some cute, easy to make little decor pieces. Now, not using Dollar Tree items, I repaint a larger canvas and some lamps with Rustoleum spray paint in the color Nutmeg and a camouflage tan. All of this began because we recently bought a new bed. I still have not found lampshades that I liked enough to spend the money on. Lampshades are NOT cheap, good gravy.
